Assistant Head with responsibility for Key Stage One, the whole school curriculum and teaching assistants.

I have fourteen years teaching experience across both Key Stages.

In my role as Key Stage One leader, I am responsible for the standards of teaching and learning and progress of pupils. This role involves conducting classroom observations and learning walks, leading pupil progress meetings, monitoring assessments, mentoring Newly Qualified Teachers and carrying out performance management interviews with staff.

As whole school Curriculum coordinator, I am responsible for the implementation of a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum. This role involves: leading a team of middle leaders who manage each of the curriculum areas; conducting book and planning scrutiny, monitoring assessments, delivering staff continuing professional development

As a Specialist leader of Education, I have experience of supporting schools across the North West resulting in impact of improved standards in teaching and learning and overall Ofsted grading.
