On behalf of the pupils, staff and Governors, we extend a very warm welcome to St. Bede C.E. Primary Academy.
At St. Bede, we pride ourselves on our happy, friendly and caring atmosphere, as well as our strong Christian ethos. Our school vision is ‘Learning, Caring, Growing Together’ and we strive to ensure that our children, staff and Governors live out this vision. Our core Christian values of Compassion, Honesty, Respect, Love, Kindness, Friendship and Forgiveness underpin all of our learning experiences, thus helping to provide our children with the best start to their journey in education and future employment.
We have strong links with our local Church, St. Bede Parish Church, and regularly attend the Church for religious festivals and weekly collective worship. Our Vicar and local Pastors also lead collective worship weekly in school, to further help develop our children’s understanding of the Christian faith. Our aim is to give our children the best education possible built on the gospel principles.
As well as core subjects, we are proud to provide our children with specialist Music, Modern Foreign Languages, Computing and Art teaching, from Early Years to Year 6. Our teaching staff strive to ensure that all children make excellent progress, regardless of their starting points, and put together bespoke packages for individual pupils to enable them to achieve their full potential.
Please contact the school if you require further information or would like to visit the school; visits are most warmly welcome!
