Welcome to Year 4.
There are three classes in Year 4 – 4G, 4M and 4T. Mrs Greenwood, Miss Mitchell and Miss Greenhalgh are the class teachers and they are supported by Mrs Hobson, Miss Cummins, Mrs Breen, Mrs Wallwork and Mrs Elliott.
In Year 4 we cover a wide range of topics including Ancient Egyptians, the building of the modern railways, the digestive system, the Tudors, electricity and food chains. We learn principally about the Christian Faith as well as other main world faiths, i.e., Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc through our RE lessons. Throughout the year we will also aim to provide further educational opportunities to support learning such as trips and visitors.
In Year 4 we are focused on ensuring that every child reaches their true potential through learning that is interactive and engaging. We believe that all children should be given the opportunities to develop and progress and make sure that we are ‘Learning, Caring and Growing Together’.
